Being a great photographer in today's modern world does not necessarily mean your work will look good. All modern high end digital cameras are designed to create unprocessed images leaving the post production to the computer artist.
As such you need the software skills needed to complete each digital image and turn a flat image into a peace of artwork.
We recently joined forces with Guy Portelli, of BBC's Dragons Den fame, to create a limited edition set of photographic images. These images involved Guy's sculptures, from his Pop Icon collection, being photographed alongside famous supercars.
Without an in-depth knowledge of photo editing software this could not have been achieved.
The images were created by photographing the same scene at varying exposures and lighting conditions. Each images was then edited to achieve the perfect colours and tones. Once this was achieved certain areas from each images was the cut and rebuilt to create a whole new image. The final image used the same composition as that of the original pictures but with a totally new look!
The link, above right, will take you to the new, built by us, with our limited edition prints on display.
The above scenario involved many man hours of careful editing but with regard to the normal images we take, these are subject to the usual colour, tone, sharpness and contrast editing prior to being supplied to our clients.
